Along the way he picks up a hitchhiker, the sharp-tongued Ranulpho, who has left the drought and suffering of his region in search of a better life. Howling with the Angels
In March 1939, Hitler’s army marched into Prague, Czechoslovakia. Jan Bodon, a young captain in the Czech Army - who also happened to be blond-haired, blue-eyed and fluent in German - was “asked” to join the Nazis. He promptly fled and joined the Czech Resistance Movement instead, and was selected to help in the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, the “Butcher of Prague.” In this powerful documentary directed by Jan’s son, Jean Bodon uncovers the truth not only about Jan’s wartime experiences, but also discovers that his father was secretly a Jew in a country which underwent one of the largest extermination campaigns of the war.

Enter for a chance to win Hot Summer on DVD! Dubbed the East German Grease, this beach blanket is being pitched on the Baltic Sea and East German pop stars are singin' and dancin', lovin' and fightin'. Resurrected in the 90's as a cult item, Hot Summer is definitely unique - a bit goofy, a bit naive, but a genuine cultural artifact nonetheless.
QUESTION: The 1978 film Grease was released in Mexico under what name?
Send your response via email to contest@firstrunfeatures.com with GREASE CONTEST in the subject line by Friday, August 3. One lucky winner will be chosen at random.

Congratulations to Diana D. from Ithaca, NY, who correctly answered last month's trivia question (According to the First Run Features MySpace page, how old is First Run? Answer: 28) and won a $25 First Run Features gift certificate! |
