A Brothers Grimm Fairy Tale. Poor Jacob is plagued by misfortune and mocked for his timidity. As if that weren't enough, the King also has it out for him. He sends Jacob on a mission to retrieve three golden hairs from the Devil's head, thinking he has seen the last of him. Jacob sets out, along the way promising the King's exploited subjects that he will learn from the Devil how they can be released from their suffering.
