A Film By Suzanne Osten
This provocative and penetrating drama revolves around Jacob, a Jewish psychiatrist,
and Soren, a Nazi skinhead. After Soren is beaten up taking part in a neo-Nazi
demonstration he accidentally meets Jacob who tends to his wounds, then asks
him to come to his office the following afternoon. Thus begins a series of explosive,
sometimes shocking encounters that radically affect both men. Soren begins the
sessions as an unapologetic racist and neo-Nazi, while Jacob, whose relatives
were killed in Auschwitz, must confront his own rage and fear.
"A striking and stylish drama - Director Osten brilliantly defines the
new politics of Europe in psychological terms." - San Francisco Jewish
Film Festival
