Hiding and Seeking is produced and directed by Menachem Daum and Oren Rudavsky, who collaborated on the Emmy-nominated documentary A Life Apart: Hasidism in America. It is the second film in an intended trilogy of films on the theme of Barriers and Boundaries, focusing on the Jewish world. Hiding and Seeking tells the story of a father who tries to alert his adult Orthodox Jewish sons to the dangers posed by defenders of the faith who preach intolerance of the "other", by those who feel compelled to create impenetrable barriers between "us" and "them."
