"The power of theater to connect human beings from different worlds is vividly revealed." - Women & Film
Since 1987, the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) led by Joseph Kony has terrorized the people of northern Uganda, abducting children to fill its ranks, forcing others into sexual slavery, and displacing even more into refugee camps. But there is hope. This documentary follows a team of artists and activists who use theater to help these children explore the traumatic events they have been through. Through the dramatization of their stories, the teens share their first-hand accounts of living with HIV/AIDS and their dreams of finding peace and reconciliation within their families and communities.
